The State migration service of Ukraine in citizenship

The state migration service of Ukraine is the Central Executive authority that implements the state policies of citizenship, shall exercise the powers of:

1) determination of the citizenship of Ukraine in accordance

in article 3 of this Law;

2) applications along with required documents on the adoption of the citizenship of Ukraine, concerning the renunciation of citizenship Ukraine children in the cases referred to in the tenth the twelfth article 18 of this Law, validation paperwork, the existence of the conditions for acceptance to the citizenship of Ukraine and absence of grounds on which the person is not accepted the citizenship of Ukraine, grounds for the release the citizenship of Ukraine and absence of grounds, of which not allowed to renounce the citizenship of Ukraine, sending statements together with its conclusion to the Commission under the President of Ukraine issues of citizenship;

3) the preparation of a submission about the loss of individuals of Ukrainian citizenship and along with necessary documents send them for consideration Commission under the President of Ukraine on citizenship;

4) adoption of decisions on registration of acquisition of citizenship Of Ukraine by persons on the grounds stipulated by points 1, 2, 4-10 article 6 of Act;

5) cancellation within the powers decisions on registration of acquisition of citizenship of Ukraine in cases stipulated by article 21 of this Law;

6) execute decisions of the President of Ukraine on citizenship;

7) publication of persons who have acquired citizenship of Ukraine, passports a citizen of Ukraine, temporary identity of a citizen of Ukraine, certificates of registration of a person as a citizen of Ukraine;

8) the removal of persons whose nationality terminated or relative which cancelled the decision on registration of acquisition of citizenship Ukraine passports of the citizen of Ukraine, temporary identity

a citizen of Ukraine, passport of citizen of Ukraine for travel for the border and issuing of certificates about the termination of citizenship of Ukraine;

9) maintenance of records of persons who have acquired citizenship of Ukraine, and persons who have terminated the citizenship of Ukraine.

The Central Executive authority that implements the state policy in the sphere of citizenship, one every six months informs The Commission under the President of Ukraine on citizenship of the mplementation of the decisions of the President of Ukraine on citizenship issues.

The Central Executive authority that implements the state policies of citizenship, shall exercise the powers provided for in the first part of this article, regarding those who live in the territory of Ukraine.
