Registration and registration in Ukraine of foreigners for a period
Temporary residence permit (TRP) entitles citizens of other countries to live quietly in Ukraine. Current legislation provides a large number of opportunities for obtaining it. However, not all foreigners use them. Why? Perhaps they just do not own the information. We suggest filling this gap with the help of this article.
The procedure for obtaining TRP in Ukraine has a number of features. The list of grounds is rather narrow and specific. Those who meet all the requirements and will go through all the necessary procedures will receive a document, which in Ukraine is called “Posvidka”. Translated into Russian, this means “Certificate” or “ID cart”.
At the moment, Posvidka is not printed on paper. The document is a plastic card containing a chip containing all the data about a person.
As a rule, TRP is issued for one year. The exception is students. The “Posvidka” is issued to them for the entire period of study: for one year for students in the preparatory department and immediately for four for those who plan to master the undergraduate program.
If necessary, the validity of the Temporary Residence Permit can be extended. “Posvidka” makes it possible not only to freely be in the country, but also to leave and enter at any convenient time.
